Chris McCarthy is a change rebel and healthcare innovator. He served as Hopelab’s VP of Strategy and Design until January of this year. His focus was at the intersection of design and science in the service of good. In his previous role at Kaiser Permanente, he co-founded and co-lead the Innovation Consultancy where he tackled complex, strategic challenges and taught design thinking to many KP’ers along the way. In 2005, Chris founded the Innovation Learning Network, an international organization of 40 care delivery systems, foundations, and design firms that committed to sharing innovations, teaching innovation approaches, and building friendships. He is currently launching his own practice.
Chris has a master’s in business administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute / Copenhagen Business School, and a master’s in public health in Health Policy from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. In his spare time, he obsesses about fitness, musicals, and skiing between the trees.
